Divorce is usually challenging for anyone. However, a good lawyer can help the transition by working toward a resolution that benefits you and your children (if you have them). I have ushered many clients through divorce, and being divorced myself gives me a sense of compassion.

There are those cases that require me to go fists-to-cuffs with the opposition, and I prepare diligently for trial in those cases. In other cases, being overly aggressive can cause more damage than good, especially when your children are involved.

It is a matter of balance since each case is unique and requires different strategies to meet client needs and goals. I strive to meet those goals whether they be custody and parenting time issues, child/spousal support, or an equitable split of the marital assets and debts. I apply these same principles in modification proceedings for child custody, child support and spousal support, and other post-divorce issues.
